Explanation
of Reigns
Miss Rodeo New Mexico
Elect wins her title at the annual Miss Rodeo New Mexico
Pageant. However, she is a "Lady-in-Waiting" until
January of the following year when she assumes the title.
She will reign from January through December and compete
in the Miss Rodeo America Pageant
(MRAP) in Las Vegas, Nevada. As MRNM-Elect, she is expected
to attend the MRAP that same year to attend the Rodeo Royalty
Seminar and to observe
the Pageant to know what to prepare for. This is a definite
advantage for her.
The
Miss Rodeo New Mexico Teen, Princess and Little Miss
each wins her title at the annual MRNM Pageant and begins
her reign at the Coronation, which is the culmination
of the Pageant. Her
reign ends the following year at the Coronation when the
new title holders are named .

Hi, my name is Jazmin Mirabal and I am excited to be Little
Miss Rodeo New Mexico. I love spending time with my animals - birds,
cats, dogs, and especially my horses, Missy, Bambam, Ciara, Blizzard,
Halo, Miss Bee, and Bandit. I live with my mom, Tanya Mirabal and next
door to my grandparents, Ruben and Donna Mirabal, my cousin Jason, and
my uncle, Marty. I am also lucky to live in Clovis, NM where my great-grandparents,
Carl and Dorothy Sims also live. My dad, John Edwards, lives in Santa
Fe. I hope that I get the chance to represent our great state of New
Mexico as Little Miss Rodeo New Mexico which has always been a dream
of mine! I am also really excited to be able to ride in the Grand Entries
of the Pioneer Days Rodeo, that is a dream of mine that came true this
year! |
